Pachoud Motor YachtsPachoud Yachts is a progressive boat building company specializing in the construction of epoxy composite motor yachts 15 - 50 metres in length. Dave Tauranga is a unique coastal hinterland favored by abundant sunshine, beautiful beaches and fertile soil. As New Zealand's largest export port, Tauranga offers one of the biggest influences on the regions prosperity. Pachoud Yachts is located at Marine Park on Cross Road, Sulphur Point on two hectares of prime land purchased from the Port of Tauranga. A purpose built 50,000 square foot building, 45 feet in height, accommodates the boat building operation and administration offices. Its position directly on the Tauranga Harbour facilitates launching and sea trials. Boats up to 150ft long by up to 40 ft beam can be accommodated. Beside this sits a 4500 square foot upholstery shop and staff room facilities. Pachoud Yachts provides a comprehensive boat building operation where all systems design, composite work, cabinet making, electrical, upholstery, stainless steel fabrication and engineering are done in-house. Having all these services under one roof allows for better quality control and project management. This has become a significant factor in the success of the company. The company invests in high tech machinery and staff training to compliment the employee's skills and utilizes the latest technology and computerized cutting equipment. Over the past 20 years Pachoud has successfully completed 42 Yachts building both power catamarans and motor launches. The boats are renowned for, high-quality finish, luxurious timber interiors and attention to detail. |

Pachoud, started the business in 1987 in Rotorua. In 2000 Dave re-located the business to Tauranga, a prosperous city in a beautiful natural harbour on the East Coast of New Zealand's North Island.
